We are a local pageant and open to full-time residents, students, or employees of the following counties – Richmond, Columbia, McDuffie, Lincoln, Jefferson and Burke. We abide by all Miss America qualifications to compete in this local franchise.

 

The pageant includes these areas of competition: Interview, Swimsuit, Talent, and Evening wear.

Eligibility to compete in the 2009 Miss Augusta

  •     Single female between the ages of 17-24
  •     High school graduate before July 31, 2009
  •     Not less than 17 years of age on October 25, 2008 nor more than 24 years of age before December 31, 2009
  •     Contestant always been a single female
  •     Contestant must be a United States citizen
  •     Contestant not now or has ever been married
  •     Contestant not now and has never been pregnant and not an adoptive parent
  •     Contestant must meet character criteria as set forth by the Miss America Organization
  •     Contestant must be in good health to meet the job requirements
  •     Contestant must be able to meet the time commitment and job responsibilities as set forth by the Miss August Board
  •     Contestant must meet residency requirements for competing in Miss Augusta.

If you are interested in competing in the 2009 Miss Augusta Pageant the deadline for competition is Tuesday September 30, 2008. The following items must be RECEIVED by September 30, 2008, so please allow sufficient time for delivery. The Forms must be typed and you must use the required forms.  Please include your e-mail address on your forms.

 

In order to compete in the Miss Augusta pageant you must complete your requirement by October 1, 2008. We will check the missamerica4kids website to ensure your compliance and no contestant will be allowed to compete unless she has fulfilled this requirement.

    (Simply fill in the appropriate blanks after first highlighting the existing text. Filling one blank will automatically populate all similar blanks. No other text may be changed, added or deleted. Please remember to make a hard copy of your finished contract before closing the file since this Adobe PDF file cannot be saved.)

    (in case of two requests for the same music, the contestant whose form is received first will be allowed to use the music)
  10. Contestant Photo two (hard copy of a 5x7 headshot (black and white, if possible) for the program book and a 300dpi jpeg for the website) Please email the jpeg to Lynn Huff.
  11. Music CD (no tapes, CDs only please; music cannot exceed 2 minutes in time - Note that for Miss GA 2009, talent time may not exceed 90 seconds. This year only, Miss Augusta and other locals you have the option of 90 seconds or 2 minutes. The judges will be informed of this option.)
