We are a local
pageant and open to full-time residents, students, or employees of the
following counties – Richmond, Columbia, McDuffie, Lincoln, Jefferson
and Burke. We abide by all Miss America qualifications to compete in
this local franchise.
The
pageant includes these areas of competition: Interview, Swimsuit,
Talent, and Evening wear.
Eligibility to compete in the 2009 Miss Augusta
-
Single female between
the ages of 17-24
- High
school graduate before July 31, 2009
- Not less
than 17 years of age on October 25, 2008 nor more than 24 years of
age before December 31, 2009

Contestant always been a single female
- Contestant
must be a United States citizen
- Contestant not
now or has ever been married
- Contestant not
now and has never been pregnant and not an adoptive parent
- Contestant
must meet character criteria as set forth by the Miss America
Organization
- Contestant
must be in good health to meet the job requirements
- Contestant
must be able to meet the time commitment and job responsibilities as
set forth by the Miss August Board

Contestant must meet
residency requirements for competing in Miss Augusta.
If you are interested in competing in the
2009 Miss Augusta Pageant the deadline for competition is Tuesday
September 30, 2008. The following items must be RECEIVED by September 30, 2008, so
please allow sufficient time for delivery. The Forms must be typed and
you must use the required forms. Please include your e-mail
address on your forms.
In
order to compete in the Miss Augusta pageant you must
complete your requirement by October 1, 2008. We will check
the missamerica4kids website to ensure your compliance and
no contestant will be allowed to compete unless she has
fulfilled this requirement.
